Joan Gray ~ President & Administrator ~ Stand Down Together Huntsville
“Leave No Vet Behind ... or their families!” As many of you know, my Mother/best friend Ora Belle of 93, has walked her talk as a giver, and remains my unsung hero! They say surround yourself with the kind of people who inspire us! I have! That’s why for the past 4 yrs she’s certainly been challenged as MY care giver. We both have survived Cancer and many surgeries later, I’ve decided to give back as much as possible to follow in the footsteps my mother has started. Non profit ~ that’s what I can afford. So, I hope “No Veterans Left Behind” speaks to your heart. We owe our veterans more than we can repay for the sacrifices they’ve made for our freedom! We CAN show them they are not forgotten. Will you help me show my Mother her lesson has paid off and it will live on, beyond us? “To all our unsung heroes, to include your families, you are never forgotten!” My life in the face of adversity, convinced me ….. I can practice Hand Up ~ Givers Gain! |
